
I lead and facilitate a variety of writing classes, creative workshops, and community events for writers at all levels. From college classrooms to local libraries to other collaborations, my events are designed to not only help writers gain knowledge but to become more capable, confident, and excited about their work.

Muse Happy Hour
The Third Thursday Writers Happy Hour is an in-person, informal get-together where area writers and Muse teachers, students, and friends enjoy conversation, camaraderie, and drinks.

Conquering the Blank Page with ASAP
This six-session workshop is for veterans, service members, military spouses, family members, caregivers, and survivors. Each session will include guided discussion and freewriting exercises to help writers tap into creativity, build confidence, and break through the blank page.

Join a night of guided writing sessions with a variety of creative prompts to help you spark your imagination, start a new story, and share your work. This event is free, no RSVP is required, but please support our host by purchasing food and/or drinks.

Writing College Application Essays
The crash course covers what an essay is, how to target it, and strategies for writing one effectively with brainstorming and freewriting activities., and the review sessions workshops student essays and offers feedback on drafts to make sure you have relevant content, a compelling hook, effective narrative, and strong, concise writing.

Righting Your Routine: Developing Writing Habits that Work for You Explore different approaches to writing routines, including strategies used by successful writers, and how to adapt them to fit your goals, schedule, and creative process.
